Mystery Solved?

Topiary Ball or Boxwood Ball. That's the name of what I want. Something kind of like this:

OR

PLUS

OR

I can't say these are the perfect combinations of what I have in mind, but closer than some of the other options I came across, I suppose. I really think the planter/vase makes all the difference. I like the pedestal style or a pot where it fits right in like an ice cream cone. Cute, cute, cute!

Now one of the questions is--do I go with fake or real? My colleague has a cute fake one from Thai Pan. The other has a real one. Can I keep a real one alive? If I want it next to my stove is it better to have a fake one?

Thoughts, please?

I have starting growing succulents this year (look back at my front porch post from last summer) they are REALLY cute! But more importantly they are the only plant I can keep alive! They only have to be watered 1 a month!

Fake! I want to rip out our real ones in front and replace with fake. The real ones are not symmetrical or truely green.

I like the top one. And go with fake, just make sure you keep it dusted
