I want a garden

I can't wait to have my own garden. I think I would enjoy a new hobby and with such high produce prices these days, it totally makes sense. It is so nice to see everyone's plants finally exploding with growth. Tomatoes are my favorite. I attempted to keep two cherry tomato plants my parents gave me in my little patio. Unfortunately, I need a little more practice at the garden mom thing. I forgot to get a baby-sitter when I left to Belize. Poor tomatoes, dead.

Anyway, I'm not too discouraged. Meanwhile, I am enjoying eating everyone else's offerings. By the way, I accept any and all fresh produce. Don't let it go to waste--I can find a use for it. You can also take excess produce to the Food & Care Coalition--the homeless shelter/soup kitchen. I think that's probably an even better idea if you have too much to handle.

PS. There are some great sewing items for gardening. If I was a great blogger, I might even post pictures. Great aprons and bags to carry all the tools. I love this time of year!

I've been wanting a garden...except not wanting the work, I guess. I was really tempted by one of those indoor growers. So cute and fun. No room! I was thinking you should spend your free time making aprons and selling them online. You could specialize in gardening ones or something if you like.

We have plenty of Zuweirdeenies you can have. We planted our zucchini too close to the other squash plants and all we have is this weird squash that looks kind of like a honeydew melon color, spagetti squash shape with a zucchini texture. Zuweirdeenies!
