Sometimes it is fun to go to a championship school. I am proud to call myself a Tar Heel. Afterall, UNC is ranked 30th in the nation, and the number 5 public school (the top 25 schools are all private). Granted, they have an advantage as the nation's first public university. And how cool is it to go to the same school Michael Jordan and Mia Hamm attended?! ha ha
And have you noticed how many students wear Carolina blue apparel on BYU and UVU campus? Ironic. That's part of the reason I thought of going to UNC--brand recognition.

I have to admit, I was rooting for Michigan St. (the Big 10 needs all the good fortune they can get). UNC definitely put to rest any questions about who has the best team in the country. Congratulations!
By the way, we still need to tally up our bracket totals, but Erin picked 3 out of the final 4 teams and she picked the final 2 teams (but unfortunately she picked Mich St. to win it all). I'm sure she left my predictions in the dust.
UNC is normally my pick and this year I almost chose them. Maybe I was persuaded by some who were talking about Mich St or I felt bad for the big ten or maybe pessimistic about UNC. I dunno. should have stayed with the tar heels!
