With Christmas approaching, I have been thinking about what I want to design my home. It is hard because I have no design sense. I am trying to think out-side of the box and consider details that look great that I would never think of.

After consulting some magazines, I think I am beginning to picture some ideas for my kitchen. I've come up with two things I REALLY, REALLY want for my kitchen:

1. I was inspired by my sister's off-set tiered serving plates. I want one. Something with a little bit of style that I can put my fresh fruit on. I like some of these options from Bed, Bath & Beyond.






2. Two of my colleagues have the most gorgeous potted plants. I can't find a similar example to show, which is frustrating. They are shaped in a round ball-like shape, and consist of almost small little clovers. If anyone knows what I am talking about, please help! I think they are from Thai Pan. I'd like to get one before they stop selling them.
